Exhibitions, demonstrations and open studios
I have several exhibitions, demonstrations and open studios throughout the year at various locations. This includes my own Elm Studio at Mind Tree Café Furlong Close Rowde SN10 2TQ near Devizes Wiltshire, which is open every Thursday 10.00am to 3.30pm. These provide great opportunities to speak to me in depth about my painting techniques. So please pop in to say hello and while you are here, why not visit the café and enjoy a cup of coffee, a slice of delicious cake or a tasty lunch?

Autumn Exhibition
Elm Studio SN10 2TQ

A chance to view and purchase my paintings and my husband, Nick Pearce's pottery.
Come and enjoy a pre-Christmas browse of our most recent work, maybe choose a Christmas gift, or something for yourself.

As part of our Autumn Exhibition, throughout the week I will also be doing a number of Pastel Demonstrations on various subjects.

Pastel Demonstrations
A Very Wiltshire View
Tuesday 18th November 10.30am to 12.00pm
Illustrating the process I use to paint a landscape in situ. From how I choose my composition and colours, to whether or not I draw up first, textures I might use and final details.
Experimental, Pastels into Paint
Thursday 20th November 10.30am to 12.00pm
A fun session illustrating the versatility of pastel as a medium, using it with alcohol to form paint, for a way of creating expressive and lively paintings.
Wild Grasses and Sgrafitto
Friday 21st November 10.30am to 12.00pm
Showing how the scratching technique of sgrafitto helps to portray fine details in a hedgerow scene, which can otherwise be difficult to achieve with pastel chunks alone.
Open Studios
I am an exhibiting member of Marlborough Open Studios, which usually takes place every year, each weekend in July. You can view my work alongside my husband, Nick Pearce's pottery in our Poppins Gallery at home. This is a great opportunity to speak to us in depth about our production and painting techniques.
There are usually about 40 different venues within a 20 mile radius of Marlborough, where individual artists open their studios for visitors every weekend in July. Some artists will also put on private views, demonstrations or instruction events. Brochures containing all the artists' information are widely distributed and everybody is welcome.
